Syntax for the MUME line editor commands is this:

%<command letter> [<number>|b [- [<number>|e

Upper case letters mean that line numbers will be displayed.

The following commands are available: h help ([&lt;command&gt;) e exit editor q quit editor, cancel any changes l list the text d delete line(s) g go to line w where is the current line f find (/&lt;string&gt;/&lt;flags&gt;) s substitute (/&lt;string1&gt;/&lt;string2&gt;/&lt;flags&gt; j justify ([&lt;columns&gt;) n new text, delete previous contents Written text is appended after the current position, at the end by default.
