Black wolves are level ~6-7 mobs found in various places around Arda. They are normally not aggressive, but may be grouped with another type of wolf such as a huge, black wolf or pack leader, in which case they will attack along with the leader. Their corpses can be butchered to produce a black wolf fur and some meat.
